在遥远的甘村流传着一个神话，那就是甘村在美国诸位城市中排名第一…可惜的是，这个神话出了甘村就不是神话了，它就变成了大话…于是，在俺无数次的被耻笑之后，终于良心发现决定求证了。当这本八百多页的大书扉页上赫然把Gainesville, FL排在第一的时候，我却不敢相信自己的眼睛了…顺带学习了一些基本的城市指标，然后就是每天都会乐颠颠的想起几个城市然后跑去看排名，很无聊啊，恩，以后要是准备relocate了可以把这本大书再借来研究研究。以下这几个城市，大家随便猜猜排名哈，答案随后在comments里面公布，嘿嘿~

也是迷茫到青黄不接的时候，突然对读史如饥似渴。感觉读得很快，还老是跳读，结果还是读了很久，再读一遍肯定还会温故而知新。斯爷爷提出了一个“遏止领先”法则，就是说在转变时期，起先最发达和最成功的社会要改变和保持其领先地位将是最困难的。相反，落后和较不成功的社会则可能更能适应变化，并在转变中逐渐处于领先地位。对的嘛，好像人一辈子也是这个道理哇，触类旁通了哇…

以及滥竽充数的其他几本，原因是据称要申Phd需要先把prof.的大作拜读，就不好意思班门弄斧了，其实基本就是，读了半天，no comments…

像不像找不到工作走投无路的时候抓的救命稻草？是，的确是。连找工作换职业都要搞本大部头的书来读，很迂吧，咳咳…不过的确有新认识，找工作，只是finding meaning of life的一步，只要树立了信心和有办法可循，起码心灵上是安然的，这不是很多努力的终极目标么。还发掘了一些有用的其他网站。
